Powerball Winner Claims Prize

A winning Powerball ticket was sold at Hy-Vee East in Mason City for last Saturday's drawing.

After several days of debate about who won, winners have come to claim their prize. Late Wednesday, 44 year old Lori Quninland claimed her prize.

She says her and her husband play along with a couple of friends of theirs. The two couples will share the prize money.

Needless to say, she was thrilled when she finally found they had won. Even if her daughter didn't believe her.

"She could not believe it. I called her yesterday morning after I called my husband. At first she thought it was a joke but I said, 'no, I'm serious!'" Quinlan said.
