Mega Millions jackpot increases to $256 million

ATLANTA - The jackpot in the multistate Mega Millions lottery drawing has grown to $256 million.

The rollover occurred because none of the tickets sold for Friday night's $212 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number. The next drawing will be Tuesday night.

There were 22 second-prize winners from Friday night's drawing, matching all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win $250,000 apiece. One of those tickets was sold in Illinois - at a service station in the Chicago suburb of Fox River Grove. Also, 190 players, including 17 from Illinois, matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

The winning numbers from Friday's drawing were: three, five, 12, 16 and 34. The Mega Ball number was 27.
