ERLANGER, Ky. -- Police have arrested a man who might be the lotto larcenist allegedly responsible for more than a dozen thefts.

Otis Walker, 46, has been charged with burglary, fleeing, driving under the influence and driving without an operators license.

Erlanger officers said they spotted a car on Dixie Highway at about 4 a.m. Tuesday that matched the description of a vehicle used in a burglary at a convenience store in Elsmere.

Police said the driver didn't stop when they tried to pull him over, so they chased him north on Dixie and then east on Interstate 275 to Kentucky Route 17.

Walker was arrested a short time later without incident, officials said. He remains at the Kenton County Detention Center.

Police said they think Walker could be responsible for about 18 thefts at convenience stores in Northern Kentucky where lottery drawers were raided.
