Mega Millions jackpot increases to $18 million

ATLANTA - The jackpot in the multistate Mega Millions lottery drawing has grown to $18 million.

The rollover occurred because none of the tickets sold for Friday night's $12 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number. The next drawing will be Tuesday night.

There were five second-prize winners from Friday night's drawing, matching all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win $250,000 apiece. Two of those tickets were sold in Illinois - one at a convenience store in the Chicago suburb of Elmhurst, and one at a general store in the Peoria County village of Hanna City. Also, 32 players, including four from Illinois, matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

The winning numbers from Friday night's drawing were: 25, 29, 38, 39 and 46. The Mega Ball number was four.
