Single winner takes Illinois Lotto $5.75 million jackpot

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - A single winner has taken the $5.75 million jackpot from the Illinois State Lottery's Lotto game.

The only ticket to match all six winning numbers from Wednesday's Lotto drawing was sold at a mall newsstand in Calumet City, a south suburb of Chicago.

The jackpot for Saturday's drawing will be $2 million.

In addition to the grand prize winner, 25 players matched five of the six winning numbers from Wednesday night's drawing. They will receive second prizes of $828.

The winning numbers from Wednesday night's drawing were three, four, 23, 33, 36 and 43.
