Bismarck, ND (AHN) – Kevin Green assures he won’t quit his job as a forklift driver, despite the fact he took home a $1 million lottery jackpot.

While on the job last week, he heard about the North Dakota convenience store that sold the winning Powerball ticket, he then realized it’s the same place he buys his tickets and decided to check his numbers.

After taxes, his total payout came to $694, 600. He says he bought 25 Powerball tickets before last Wednesday’s drawing. With the money, he will pay some bills and help his daughter with college tuition.

The 48-year-old says he won’t quit working after winning North Dakota’s biggest lottery prize so far.
