Powerball Hits $195 Million

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - April 6, 2006 - The Powerball jackpot has climbed to $195 million.

None of the tickets sold for last night's drawing matched all six numbers drawn, which were: 3-9-24-29-39 Powerball 42 Power Play: 2.

Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared a $173 million jackpot. The prize goes to an estimated $195 million for Saturday night.

Tickets that match the first five numbers, but miss the Powerball, win $200,000 each, and there were seven of those. One was sold in Delaware. The others were sold in Arizona, Missouri, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

There were Power Play Match 5 winners in Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
