Missouri ticket wins Powerball, Minnesota ticket good for $200,000

Someone won the $224 million Powerball lottery last night, but it wasn't sold in Minnesota or Wisconsin. The lottery folks in Des Moines said only won ticket sold for Wednesday night's drawing matched all six numbers, and that ticket was sold in Missouri.

The Minnesota State Lottery office in Roseville, however, said one Minnesota ticket is good for $200,000, which could certainly brighten your day. And two tickets are $10,000 winners.

The state office said 129 Minnesota ticket holders have four Powerball numbers, good for $500 each, and 141 tickets have three numbers plus the Powerball, also good for $500.

The winning numbers were 16, 26, 34, 36, 41 and the Powerball was 24.
