Powerball Climbs to $73 Million

DES MOINES, Iowa - July 9, 2006 - The jackpot for the next Powerball keeps getting bigger.

None of the tickets sold for the Powerball game Saturday night matched all six numbers drawn, which were: 32-37-44-49-50 Powerball 13 Power Play: 4.

Players matching all five numbers and the Powerball would have won or shared the $62.5 million jackpot. The prize goes to an estimated $73 million for Wednesday.

Tickets that match the first five numbers, but miss the Powerball, win $200,000 each, and there were four of those. They were sold in: Louisiana, North Carolina and two in Pennsylvania.

There were no Power Play Match 5 winners.
