Michigan lottery worker accused of stealing tickets

DETROIT A Michigan Lottery salesman has been charged with stealing and cashing nearly 41-hundred dollars in scratch-off tickets.

Wayne County prosecutors say Larry Lee Adams of Detroit defrauded the state and is charged with embezzlement, misconduct in office and larceny. He could get five years in prison, if convicted.

Adams began working for the State Lottery in 1998.
