Mega Millions jackpot increases to $60 million

The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery drawing grew to $60 million Tuesday.

None of the tickets sold for Tuesday's $49 million drawing matched all five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball. The next drawing will be Friday.

There were three second-prize winners from Tuesday night's drawing, matching five numbers to win $250,000. Another 33 players matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

Two California players matched all five numbers and six matched four numbers and the Mega Ball. The prize amounts in California are different than what prize winners in the other Mega Ball participating states would receive.

The winning numbers from Tuesday's drawing were: 3, 4, 5, 7 and 36. The Mega Ball number was 16.
