Powerball Fever

The Powerball jackpot is estimated just over $200 million.

And one place was particularly busy Saturday as lottery hopefuls shell out for their tickets.

There's good reason for so many people to head to Ma and Pa's in Fond du Lac.

You know you're close to greatness before you even get there.

Signs along the road direct you to Ma and Pa's.

David Earle from Green Bay said "I just followed my luck and here I am, great time."

Jim "Pa" Moses owns the store "It's like an event like you go to a concert something like that it's an event."

After you find a parking spot, Pa greets you at the door.

Then once inside all you hear is chatter and the sound of lottery machines pumping out tickets.

"Pa" said "People are coming in from all over the state. Milwaukee, Green Bay, Madison up north somebody came in said they drove five hours to get here."

All that way for a lottery ticket.

But since there have been a plethora of winning lottery tickets sold here, including last months $208 million Powerball won by a group of Sargento Cheese workers - coming to Ma and Pa's for Saturday's drawing is a must.

Terry Devrinde from Sheboygan said "I run a pool at Kohler Company for the people I work with and they kept saying go to Fond du Lac, go to Fond du Lac so I took a ride to Fond du Lac."

Betty Zinda from Milwaukee said "We came here because we heard in Milwaukee that this is the most lucky place on earth to buy a lottery ticket and we want to win today."
