Lottery-ticket thief arrested for looting, burning store

GOLDSBORO, N.C. A Wayne County man is accused of taking eleven-thousand dollars in lottery tickets and other items from a Goldsboro convenience store and setting fire to the building.

Police found Michael Paul Grady with a shopping cart full of tickets, cigarettes, cash, candy and playing cards. Authorities say Grady also started a fire in the store, causing 150-thousand dollars in damage.

Grady is being held in the Wayne County Jail with bond set at 100-thousand dollars.
