Powerball Winner Wanted

MINNEAPOLIS -- Someone's a new millionaire, but Powerball officials don't know who. It's been three weeks since a winning ticket worth $47 million was purchased in Minnesota.

It will be at least a few more days before the lottery winner can come forward. Lottery offices will be closed until Monday because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

State lottery officials say no has ever waited so long to claim their Powerball jackpot in Minnesota. But the winner still has plenty of time. The winning ticket doesn't expire until Nov. 1 of next year.
