JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- The person holding the winning $254 million Powerball ticket still hasn't come forward, but Missouri Lottery officials said Thursday that the winner bought the ticket in suburban St. Louis.

The ticket was sold at the Dierbergs grocery store on Tesson Ferry Road in south St. Louis County. The ticket is the only one from Wednesday night's drawing with the winning combination of 9-19-29-42-53 and a Powerball number of 17.

It's the largest prize in the Missouri Lottery's 21-year history and the seventh-largest Powerball jackpot ever.

The Missouri winner has the option to collect the $254 million in 30 payments over 29 years before taxes or to take a lump-sum payment worth $114 million before taxes.
