S. Jersey lottery winner has not yet gone public

The South Jersey winner of the richest lottery in U.S. history remained unseen yesterday. New Jersey lottery officials said no one had stepped forward to claim a share of the $390 million Mega Millions jackpot.

Two winning tickets were sold in the multistate lottery. A Georgia truck driver claimed his half of the prize within hours of the Tuesday night drawing. The other winning ticket was sold at Campark Liquors in Woodbine, Cape May County, where the store owner says about 80 percent of his customers are local. Despite intense speculation, the winner's identity is unknown.

Lottery officials said state offices will be closed over the weekend, so the winner won't be able to have the winning ticket confirmed at least until Monday
