$74 MILLION AND GROWING - Mega Millions Jackpot Is On The Move

A total of 542,870 tickets won prizes in the Tuesday, March 27, 2007 Mega Millions drawing, as players from coast to coast are watching the jackpot grow. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to win the estimated $60 million jackpot, the jackpot for the Friday, March 30, 2007 drawing grows to an estimated $74 million.

Five tickets came within just one number of hitting the jackpot in Tuesday’s drawing. Each matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were purchased in California, Maryland, Michigan and New York (2).

The winning numbers in Tuesday’s drawing were: 18-25-34-35-42 and the Mega Ball number was 6. Here is a complete breakdown of all the winning tickets:

26 tickets matched 4 numbers + the Mega Ball for $10,000

Mega Millions is played in 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
