Northern Illinois couple claims big Powerball jackpot

An Illinois couple has claimed last month's big Powerball jackpot.

Dale Chellis and Toni Sergott, from Lake Zurich, Ill., claimed the prize from the April 28 drawing at lottery headquarters in Concord this week.

Dale Chellis is originally from New Hampshire and was visiting the state when he bought the winning ticket at a State Liquor Store in Plymouth.

The couple didn't know they had won until they returned home and Chellis checked the winning numbers on the New Hampshire Lottery Web site.

The couple is taking the winnings in a lump sum _ $23.9 million, after taxes.
