MEGA MILLIONS JACKPOT Grows To Estimated $55 Million

Even without a jackpot winner, there were more than 450,000 winning tickets in the Tuesday, July 24 Mega Millions drawing. That includes three tickets that came within just one number of hitting the jackpot. Now the jackpot for the Friday, July 27, 2007 drawing grows to an estimated annuity value of $55 million.

The winning numbers in Tuesday’s drawing were: 8-17-20-23-50 and the Mega Ball number was 17.

There were three tickets that each nearly won the jackpot matched the first five numbers and only missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were sold in California, Michigan and Virginia.

Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:00 PM Eastern Time, 10:00 PM Central Time and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
