1 ticket sold in southern California won $60 million Mega Millions jackpot

Someone in California has millions of reasons to celebrate. Lottery officials say a single player won the Mega Millions grand prize from Friday nights drawing. The winning ticket was sold in Studio City. It's worth a whopping 60-million dollars. Three other players, including one ticket bought in Michigan, won $250,000 each. Check your ticket, the winning numbers are 5-21-23-33 and 45. The Mega Ball number is 43.

In addition to the grand prize winner, three players — including one with a ticket bought in Michigan — matched all five numbers but not the Mega Ball number to win $250,000 each. Another 26 players — including one with a ticket sold in Michigan — matched four numbers, plus the Mega Ball number — good for third prizes of $10,000 each.
