$61.5 M Powerball winner in Kentucky

One lucky ticket holder in Kentucky is a whole lot richer this morning after winning last night’s Powerball drawing valued at an estimated $61.5, officials with the multistate lottery said.

The winner matched all six numbers drawn to claim the jackpot. The numbers were 25, 27, 31, 44 and 54. The Powerball was 8.

Five other ticket holders will pad their bank accounts. Ticket holders in Nebraska, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Tennessee each matched the five white balls drawn to win $200,000. Another 196 players matched four numbers for a $10,000 prize, lottery officials said.

The next drawing will be Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Approximately $15 million will be up for grabs.
