A Pond Creek woman plans to accomplish those three major things now that she is a $200,000 winner from Wednesday’s Power-ball drawing.

Denise Moore was one of five people in the nation to correctly match all five white balls, missing only the Powerball. The winning numbers from Wednesday’s drawing were 25, 27, 31, 44, 54 and the Powerball was 8.

“The whole town is in shock,” Moore said.

Moore said she has played the lottery every draw since it launched in Oklahoma, but this is her first big win. She purchased the winning ticket at The Harvest Grill in Pond Creek, which is the only lottery retailer in town.

While Moore was the biggest winner in Oklahoma, eight other Oklahomans won $20,000 and seven won $10,000 in the Wednesday drawing.

Winners of the $20,000 awards are from Ardmore, Mansville, Drumright, Newalla and Oklahoma City.

An Enid resident, Jamie Aguilar, and a Crescent resident were among the $10,000 winners. Other $10,000 winners were from Locust Grove, Moore, Tulsa and Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma has posted some big winners in Powerball lately, according to lottery officials.

“Lottery headquarters has been buzzing with excitement for the past several weeks with all the big winners,” said Jim Scroggins, Oklahoma Lottery executive director.

Winners have 180 days from the Sept. 26 drawing to claim their prizes. Scroggins reminded players to carefully check their tickets after each draw and be sure to sign the back of their ticket to prove ownership. Players may obtain winning numbers on the Oklahoma Lottery Web site at www.lottery.ok.gov.

The next Powerball drawing worth $15 million is tonight.
