Wednesday, October 24, 2007 posted 11:44 AM EDT

The members of a family who hold the winning ticket to the $20 million Powerball jackpot drawn on October 10 will be identified when they claim their winnings on Wednesday.

The ticket sold at the Westminster Safeway on Church Ranch Boulevard was the first Powerball-jackpot winner in Colorado since the state joined the game in 2001.

A partnership is expected to accept the winnings on behalf of the winning family. The family has the option of taking the cash value of $9.4 million or an annuity payout.
