One winner in KY claims $33 million in Wednesday Powerball drawing

A Kentucky Powerball player will have a little more holiday spending money after matching all six numbers drawn Wednesday night.

The ticket holder was the only winner of the $33.6 million jackpot. The numbers were 7, 14, 33, 40 and 55. The red Powerball was 15.

Four other people won $200,000 each by matching the first five numbers drawn Wednesday, but missed the Powerball. They are from Arizona, Indiana, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Overall, 376,782 players won money on Wednesday.
