No one won last night's Mega Millions lottery drawing, worth $220 million, bringing the estimated jackpot on Friday to $270 million.

That amount comes close to the $330 million jackpot in August of last year, which was split by four winners across the nation, including Maryland's Ellwood "Bunky" Bartlett. His share amounted to $82.5 million.

In addition to Maryland, Mega Millions can be played in California, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

Friday's $270 million jackpot ties for the fifth highest in the game's history, according to the Mega Millions Web site. The record was $390 million in March of last year, won by two players in Georgia and New Jersey.
