Today`s Powerball Jackpot $179 Million

The Powerball jackpot just keeps on growing as nobody won Wednesday's drawing. But eight players did match the first five numbers drawn to pocket $200,000 each, lottery officials said.

Those winners were one each from Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, North Carolina and Wisconsin, and two from Missouri.

The winning numbers in Wednesday's drawing were 1, 17, 25, 43, 51 and the Powerball was 38.

With no grand prize winners, the jackpot will be worth an estimated $179 million when the next drawing takes place on Saturday.
